Basic Introduction to Rummy Card Game

R ummy is normally played between 2 to 4 players. The number of players may increase looking at the type of Rummy game being played. The main task of each and every player is to discard all the cards through a series of turns and rounds. Every turn includes 2 steps:

1. Selecting a card at the beginning of the turn
2. Getting rid of the cards at the end of the turn

The player will either choose a card from the deck or from the discarded pile. Players are supposed to make sets or combinations of cards using the ones chosen from the deck or discarded pile. One card must always be in the hand to complete a turn.
